Born in San Francisco. I was raised in La Jolla California where I began to write. Living in Lausanne Switzerland for a year also stimulated my vocation. Then a B.A. in English at BYU where I won the Hart-Larson award for 1967 and then a J.D. from Gonzaga University in 1971. In 1989 I moved to Costa Rica, Central America and my writing continued to evolve with the publication of my 3rd book "Ibis of Imaginings, a Poetic Diary" I traveled again 2 times to Europe visiting my old stomping grounds. In my work as a legal compliance officer and strategic market developer for a major chemical company, I began traveling more including frequent trips to Cuba where my forth and 5th books have been published: LOOM and Suite de La Habana In 2004 I gave up my legal career to devote myself to poetry and music. I also have a music site www.bebebum.com
