If the problem is due to broken homes, concerned parents must be told to address it carefully. If schools are responsible then the school should analyze and find a solution. If the society is the culprit then the society must change the attitude towards the teens. If the people who rule the nation are responsible then they must try to lead a clean life or at least give the impression of being honest in their dealings with tax payer’s money. Children do not like to be compared with their siblings. Parents must remember this. Schools should treat students of arts and science courses alike. People visiting their friends and relatives should refrain from making the inquisitive enquiry about the boys or girls education They should not ask about the course they follow. They seldom stop with that. They immediately tell the parents that there is no use of a B.A. ,or B.Sc degree. This hurts the young minds that for some reason or other follow this stream of study. They feel miserable and come to conclusion that they are useless. Some people comment on the height and weight of the boys. Society looks down upon the people who owe a degree in arts. They expect the boy or the girl to get a fat salary immediately after the college education.
At the end, our rulers contribute their might to corrupt the young minds by being corrupt to the core. Young minds try to compare with them and feel that nothing wrong if they do a little bit wrong in their dealings when the leaders do a lot of illegal things and get away scotch free. To sum up, the school, the home ,the society and the leaders must realize their responsibilities and act wisely. We cannot prepare future for our teens but we can certainly prepare our teens as responsible citizens for the future of the nation. If we succeed in our endeavour the rate of suicides of teen agers will come to the barest minimum.
