At the moment I am getting very annoyed at being woken up at night time. It's the same time 2.30am every morning. I go through the routines, was it a dream. Check out my brain, No, not a dream. Was it something external, catfight? No, cross that one off. Lie there for 10 minutes and get grumpier. Get out of bed and come down to the kitchen and get a drink of water.
Head to the laptop because now I am wide awake and know it will be an hour before I can get back to sleep. I read emails I need to catch up on and mentally laugh. If people knew I was returning emails at 2.30am, they would think I am nuts and yes it does also come up on some computers. As I am typing, I become physically very aware that there has been a change in the energy somewhere in the house. Because it is my home, I have a tendency to drape energy all around. I feel like a snail at times. What this does is enables me to check changes in energy in the rooms where people are asleep. I normally know they are waking up or there is an energy shift.
This is actually really easy to do in your own home, if you are paying attention. Normally most of us know our houses inside and out. You know the placement of the rooms, bathroom etc. In your mind's eye, you can normally follow a route around your house. This makes it easy to expand awareness. If you also acknowledge that the physical body is bound by physical rules, your mind is not. Then you have another tool to be able to move around your house. To heighten your awareness you just need to be paying attention, to how your house normally feels when everyone is in it, out of it and when everyone is asleep.
There is changes of energy when people are in your house. There is children energy, pet energy. Normally at night I check out each of the rooms. You can do this by "remote viewing" which is mentally travelling around each room and "seeing" what's going on. This is what I do if my children are staying somewhere else. Or you can expand your awareness and literally send your energy to each room and check out what is going on. In my own home it is easier to send energy to "feel" what's going on first. Rather like an octopus puts legs in to feel around, I do this with feelers of energy. Try it, it's not that hard.
So as I sit at the computer, I send a feeler around the corner all the way up the hallway towards the bathroom, as I go past the first doorway, I turn into that room with the feeler and "sense" what the energy is like. It's a small huffy snore, sleeping energy. Hmm No.1 son is asleep. Nothing else moves energy wise in his room. I pull the feeler out of that room and head more down the hallway, next doorway is No.2's room. As I extend into this room, I notice little shifts in energy. I'm getting closer. I extend the feeler very close to my son, confirming he is sleeping, but very lightly. Hmm something has disturbed him. I retract and push further up the hallway. Typing it even makes me laugh, I feel like a sweeper, or a sensor, shift side to side, searching. At the end of the hallway is the problem. Feeling wise the energy I encounter is cool, swirling and moving in a circular motion. It is also stationery which means it is waiting. Having touched lightly around the edges of it I can feel it is about 2 feet high, oblong shaped and suspended above the floor about a foot.
I sigh at the computer, and move to look down the hallway. At the end of the hallway, there is an orb-like oblong pale blue light, it fluctuates in the darkness and hovers. It is exactly how I felt it. About 2 foot high, suspended above the ground. It is the colour of it that I love, pale blue, luminous. I mentally say "Hey I can see you". The orb shimmers and comes down the hallway towards me. Oh, the penny drops. He is one of our residents. We have in the house 3 spirits who regularly come back and visit. Most of the time they either take a form and appear or if comfortable they appear as large plumes of colour. All of them have belong with the house at some stage. This one as he changes and walks towards me is a young man, about 25 years old. He was killed tragically in a car accident on a bridge near us coming home. "Hey" he says. "Hi, what you doing?" He smiles, "just checking the house. I think I woke your son up". I cross my arms and look at him. "Sorry" he smiles. "Hmmm" I say to him.
He laughs, "okay, okay I will be quieter" "Yeah right" I say to him. He shrugs, "No-one else used to notice". I smile at him "Well too bad, you got me". He laughs out loud and winks at me. I laugh, "Go home, I'm going to bed". I hear him laughing as he shimmers out of sight. You know if I was sleeping, I would miss out on these interactions. However, YAWN it's time for bed.
