Today spirit decided to lighten the load. The boys and I walked down to the shops, had heard there was a sale on. What? At a time like this? They have cabin fever... Lets go! Walking down the street, we bump into a man I met the other night at the healing group. Lovely energy, very, very shiny. Hmm no co-incidence... As we part, my oldest son says, "Hey did you check out his orbs?" I snort laughter all the way to the shop.
At the shops, it is mayhem. There is a heap of people in my home town, due to the earthquake and it appears we are all heading to the sale shop!! The boys vote to stay outside and I wade in through people in search of , of all things, socks and underwear.... Good Lord! I detour around people and become aware that most of the people's auras are shimmering with movement and change, this has all happened because of the quake and the changes in energy as they have been given to get them through to the next stage. When this happens, aura colours seem to roll and twirl as immediate change is upon people.
I move through the shop towards home wares and a little old lady catches my attention. She is pushing a walker in front of her and her purse is plopped in the wire carrier. She is very small, white haired and elderly. She is by herself but not by herself. There is a little old man in spirit with her. He has his hand on her walker and is walking beside her whispering in her ear. He has an impish air and turns to me and smiles, his eyes twinkling and I laugh, he's up to mischief I can tell. What is more entertaining is the guide on the other side of her. He is quite tall and has to lean down to talk to her, he is younger, with brown hair and a very, very flustered air.
She stops and picks up a coffee mug and peers at the price on the bottom and then the discount on the stand. The old man claps his hands delightedly but the guide, homes in and whispers frantically in her ear. I understand. The lady is on a bargain hunt, her husband in spirit JUST like her. It is causing the guide to have canaries... He knows she cannot really afford what she is looking at but has his hands full with not only her but her husband as well! The coffee cup gets put back and the little old lady moves towards the manchester section. The guide runs his hands through his hair in despair and moves after her.
I follow at a distance, feeling sorry for the guide but intrigued to see what the outcome is going to be. The walker progresses and the twinkly eyed husband with the white hair points delightedly at the towels, and whispers again in the old lady's ear. I smother laughter at the expression on the guide's face this time. The guide moves quickly to sit on top of the towels. I nearly choke at the look on his face, determination, love and patience but sooo frustrated. The sight also of the guide on the top of the towel shelves is hilarious. I peer from behind the sheet section.
The little old lady reaches around the guide and pulls down two towels to look at. The little old man in spirit again claps hands with glee. The guide places his hands on the other side of the towels. Hmmm a celestial tug of war? He shakes his head at the lady, and leans over to whisper again in her ear. She frowns. The only outward sign she has heard him. I am intrigued who will win, the lady, her husband or the guide? She places the towels back and the guide jumps right over her and lands on the bed behind her and jumps up and down delightedly. I snort with laughter and startle the lady next to me, who peers around me to see what I am laughing at. I mumble an apology and she moves away from me with a look back stare.
I watch the guide with abandon bouncing up and down on the bed, until he notices that the little old lady has trundled off in another direction. He sighs, turns towards me, winks and shoots off after her. I love Spirit, the Guides, Angels, their sense of humour is boundless, their patience amazing, their loyalty, love and understanding immense. But above all I am so grateful, in the middle of this tragedy, this hurt, this loss. They made me laugh and laugh. So thank you guys for letting me see that there is light, there is hope and there is always, always spirit looking after us. Thank you XX
