My youngest son is intriguing. He is an old soul driving a young car as I put it, meaning he is old in a young body. He has some very indepth conversations at times for a 9 year old. Ninety more like it! Today has been enlightening. He has had a few nightmares over the last couple of days and we have been talking about what he sees and hears. There is always a miriad of spirit in his room at night, which I duly shoo out at the end of the night so he can get some sleep. He is unpreturbed about these spirits and in particular is very attached to his newest guide who has appeared just recently.
Please understand, children under 10 are very close to the veil. They have memories of past lives, they have understanding of seeing and hearing spirit. When they are born, have you noticed that babies always look around you, not particularly at you. They have understanding and wisdom in their eyes beyond their fragile age. This is not a co-incidence. You will hear the old dears say "ohhh this one has been here before" and you know what it's true. I leave my children to develop as they will with their gifts, only giving them an understanding that we have a choice to work with spirit and your gift and the light. It's entirely up to you. Only very recently the children have come to a Spiritualist Church with me to "see" what I do.
My eldest told me I was nosy around people, and changed colours when I read. Irridescently white he called it. My youngest said "Can you read minds Mum?". Hmmm not really or I try not to too much! It was interesting to see their reactions. My eldest said, "Hmmm so now I know what you do on Sunday nights!". I laughed. My youngest ever serious son said "I believe you do a good thing Mum". Bless!
So back to the youngest and the conversation today. "Mum, I know that you can make the darkness run, but you cannot stop death can you?" Crikey a hard one and right out of the blue too! I explained that death is a transition, that it's a step, out of this body and into the light. He sighs "I know that!" Oooookay. "Sometimes if you are given information, can you change it?" "Hmmm it depends on the information, buddy. Sometimes Spirit gives us what I call a "Heads Up", what potentially can happen and what you need to do to change it". "So can you change a person's death then?" "No honey, you can't".
All the way through our lives are what I call "Exit Points". These are when you brush up against death and if you have completed what you needed to on this journey you can leave, go back to spirit. This may have been the close call of nearly drowning as a kid. Coming off your bike, hit by a car, falling out of a tree. Most people can think back and at least a couple of times recall these near misses. I havent told my son about exit points. He is only 9 or is that 90?
We love to have control (or so we think) over our lives and the choices we make. There is always choices. When it comes to the choice of death. You already made that decision before you came here. We do not know when death will come. It serves no purpose for us to know. If we did, it would alter how we live our lives and the growth we make. If you understand that each day is a gift and live your life to the fullest, there is no problem with death. It is merely a transition from one state to another. I work with spirit every day, I love that people connect back with their loved ones, they havent changed, they are still the same, still loud, still naughty, still loving. I hardly see a bitter person on the other side, these are human emotions, replaced with patience, wisdom and understanding and most of all love. A lot of us fear death. Wonder if we will see our children grow?, if we will grow old? I cannot stress enough, enjoy your time here, love unconditionally, laugh madly, mend bridges, and let go of past regrets. It is just a transition but one that cannot be changed.
Be all that you can be, love passionately, forgive, forget, grow, learn and cherish moments of joy. Do not let the lower emotions rule your life with what if's and maybes, dislike, unease and sorrow. Be you, love you, love life and shine, we simply are not meant to know!
