The mystery of salable copies of a never published novel  isn't solved but I do have the next chapter.  Not only a chapter, but a complete book - an ebook.  Amazon.com has published Bluebirds of Impossible Paradises: a Sexual Odyssey of the 70's as a Kindle book and it is now available, able to be read not only on an electronic reader but it can be downloaded to most PCs. Now, if I could only find a publisher to put it out on paper so my Luddite friends can read it.
