I passed by a crowded road ....
The atmosphere was thick..........Air hardly had place to escape..........The heat from the sun increased as time went by....
Suddenly, I saw a bird-market. It was the reason for the crowd.
There were at least 200 cages, with different birds in each of them, hanging on trees or bicycles, ready to be sold....
Canaries, cuckoos, larks, pigeons, parrots,etc
I had never seen so many birds and human beings gather at the same time.
People paid and bought , birds chirped and cheeped...
Suddenly, things blackened before my eyes.
When I regained my vision, things weren't the same anymore.
I saw birds paid and bought, human chirped and cheeped.
All the birds were walking around in clothing. They had arms for wings and a large bird head replaced the human head at the shirt's neck.
The birds were buying tiny human in the cages, asked another bird how much they cost. The birds stared inside the cages as if checking the human.
I could see the terrified faces of the tiny beings locked in the cages, trying to escape the beaks and crawls of the gigantic birds.
Suddenly, things blackened again.
From deep inside that abysmal darkness, I heard a sharp siren.
When I could see again, I was alone on the road. The bird-market was gone, as if vanished into thin air.
Nothingness surrounded me. I felt as if I was starting to vanish as well...
Suddenly, out of nowhere, that siren came back in my head. This time, it was real.
I turned back. A truck was heading towards me with its full speed. The rambling sound of heating engines echoed on the hollow road.
I tried to run away, but my body did not obey. My legs rooted, my hands froze. Only my face produced a terrified look.
The truck was closer. It was going to hit me in about 5 more seconds. I could hear its angry aggressive noise, like a monster roaring for my flesh.
I took a glimpse of the driver in my last minutes.
It was a gigantic bird...
..............................I waked up from my daydream.
"Dreaming while riding the bike again? I never understand why I didn't get hit by a car"
Ahead of me was a crowded bird-market....
