Howard Massey is a music journalist, musician, and recording engineer/producer who was formerly an editor at Musician and Performing Songwriter magazines.
He is also the author of fifteen books, including two collections of interviews entitled Behind The Glass and Behind The Glass Volume II (Backbeat Books). In 2006 he was privileged to co-author legendary Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick’s critically acclaimed memoir Here, There, and Everywhere (Gotham Books) and he also produced a series of music technology books for Music Sales Corporation in the 1980s. His latest book, co-authored with baby boomer expert Marvin Tolkin, is entitled When I'm 64 and is about retirement planning. (For more information, go to www.whenim64.com).
