THINKING IN SILENT SELF LANGUAGE

He asks for me to think,

Silently ,

In that language of myself,

That language that has already taken me all the way up and all the way down

and to all the edges of everything, everything

Because he took me there

To all those places,

And they were wonderful, and they were alive

And he was like no other,

no other known in my whole lifetime

And I saw what love could look like.

And I think I  hear  him telling me

That by being  silent (as he is)

Somehow he can look at me

,remembering our connection

Matching my silence with his

And he will know what it is I still feel

Showing my love for him

By my silence.

Remembering our connection

Heather, I truly enjoyed your beautiful poem: "Thinking in Silent Language" I looked for the imprinted words that resonated the most, but I found it too hard to separate to what belonged; remembering our connection in the silence.

Thank you very much,

Truly,
