For the month of November I'm a writer, period. The other eleven months of the year I'm Susie Homemaker. My two children keep me busy with school and activities but I still manage time to do freelance graphics and writing now and then. I'm an advocate for healthy food and clean diets. I have severe food allergies, so about three hours of each day is spent in the kitchen, planning, prepping, and cooking meals. It takes a lot of time to fix everything from scratch but it's worth it to feel healthy again. I don't seem to do much else these days but at least I have a goal for the end of the year - to get my novel published.
I've written a few manuscripts over the past ten years but nothing ever seems worthy enough to submit for publication. They're either too short, too hokey, too x-rated, or too poorly written. This year's NaNoWriMo project (2008) is going to change that. I really feel good about my work and it's coming together beautifully.
So that's me in a nutshell, and of course if I'm in a nutshell that must mean I'm a nut. I won't deny it since it's true.
