Pat Guppy Takes to the Streets of Weston-super-Mare
Blog Post by Gina Collia-Suzuki - Jul.03.2010 - 10:17 am
Pat Guppy took to the streets of Weston-super-Mare today to promote the coming book signing at Waterstone's Booksellers on July 17th. Pat just so happened to look remarkably like my husband, Ryoma, dressed as an old woman, carrying a squeaking rubber chicken. Fun was had by all, young and old, on this warm and sunny day in Weston (known as Sea View in the Guppy books). Spirits were high (though none had been consumed). Thank you to everyone who stopped to have a chat (and a giggle). See you at the signing in two weeks!

Just what every writer
Just what every writer needs--a primary character with an astonishing resemblance to her husband! How thoughtful of Pat to make things that easy for you. In two weeks, I'll be at the signing in spirit so I can pass my compliments to Pat personally on her lovely eyeshadow.
She looked even more like my
She looked even more like my lovely husband when her wig started to come away and needed to be straightened.
She was assured, by the assistant at the chemist shop, that that particular shade of blue is very 'of the moment'... with the over nineties. I almost had to beat some of the older gents off with a stick, she looked so fetching.
