George Witte is the author of three collections of poems, Deniability (2009) and The Apparitioners (2005), both available from Orchises Press, and Does She Have a Name?, to be published in May 2014 by NYQ Books. His work has been published in Best American Poetry 2007, received Poetry magazine's Frederick Bock prize, and was awarded a grant by the New Jersey Council on the Arts. Recent poems have been published in Antioch Review, Ploughshares, Southwest Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, and Yale Review. A native of Madison, New Jersey, he works as the editor in chief of St. Martin’s Press.
My third book of poems, Does She Have a Name?, will be published by NYQ Books in May 2014.
