Founder George H. Schofield, PhD will deliver a free web seminar on Thursday, March 22nd at 8:30pm (ET) entitled “Live, Work, and Play Somewhere New: Successful Relocation And Moving Over 50".
LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla., Mar. 21, 2012 – According to George H. Schofield, PhD, founder of New Bright Life, LLC, 59% of baby boomers plan to relocate (up 31% since 1999). In an upcoming live teaching event, Schofield will be offering a framework for relocating that can help people with moving over 50: finding the right place to live, saving money and time, reducing anxiety and stress, and making a successful relocation choice the first time around.
George will also speak about the 13 biggest mistakes to avoid when planning a move.
According to Dr. Schofield, the 10 most common reasons that people want (or need) to move are for employment over 50, to be closer to loved ones, to retire, to be a working retiree, for better health, for a higher quality of life, for activities and interests, to be part of a new community, to get a fresh start, and / or because it’s time.
Schofield will be helping people over fifty by teaching a four step process for moving successfully: so a person can assess their current situation, define relocation goals, do good research to discover viable possibilities, and build an action plan.
Schofield’s system is based on his firsthand experience of relocating, in addition to his study and experience in psychology, lifelong development, counseling, and as a life coach for over fifty. Data also come from his research while writing "After 50 It’s Up To Us, Developing The Skills and Agility We’ll Need."
Participants have the option to access the seminar online or via teleconference.
