Although I did not read every blog on “Writing for Free”, I did read a few from both points of views. The writers, who don’t mind working for free, write sloppily. Common errors I found were misspelling, ending sentences with prepositions, overuse of that, very, and other adverbs. In addition, they used fragmented and passive sentences.
The writers who did not like the idea of writing for free, had tighter, more concise writing using less words to make their point.
I am suggesting that on line publishers look at the quality of writing they present. You don’t get fillet mignon at hot dog prices.
