Gail Harper's Biography

I am a 1975 graduate of the Iowa Writers Workshop.  I have one published novel, Double Exposure (1989) Story Line Press.   In 1981 I obtained my JD degree from Hastings College of the Law, and I have been a practicing attorney since 1983, handling criminal appeals exclusively since about 1987.  I have been closeted as a fiction writer ever since my incredibly unpleasant experiences at Iowa, and I want to come back out -- hoping that the world of writers has changed for the better since 1975.
