We can all wander through a day or a lifetime with only a vague idea of what we really want, and end up satisfying someone else’s goal.
Or if we aren't even lucky enough to find a willing sergeant, it's possible to fritter time away with pastimes that never feel quite right, never quite command much passion. Pursuing genuine goals takes a little courage and a willingness to run into disappointment.
But isn't life exactly as meaningful as the meaning we're willing to give it?
