Great News !! CyberKill has been acquired by a traditional publisher.
The publisher is TrapDoor Books.
Trapdoor Books is not like other traditional publishers. They specialize in what’s known as ‘geek fiction’. While the settings can be niche – mysteries, thrillers, fantasy, gothic/horror, science fiction, etc. – the best geek fiction challenges readers and surprises them with well-paced, well-researched and compelling stories.
According to TrapDoor Books, Geek fiction considers itself as appealing to sophisticated, socially-connected readers who have higher-than-average IQs, advanced educations and are looking for intellectual challenges and extraordinary entertainment well beyond the ‘lowest common denominator’ content that is so often provided through mass media outlets.
CyberKill fills that bill.
Ripped from today's news, the geographic locations, government and military installations and organizations, information warfare scenarios, artificial intelligence, robots, and the information and communications technology in CyberKill all exist. As for SIRUS, pieces of the technology are either in existence or in the research and development stage.
According to the Department of Defense, SIRUS doesn't exist. The Fars News Agency of Iran reports otherwise.
Combine that with their modern marking approach using social media and networking, I believe they would be the best publisher to make my ‘geeky’, close to reality book a success.
Projected release of the new and improved version of CyberKill is in March. Look for it then.
