Red Room - Thank You!
With apologies to Lewis Carroll, author of The Walrus and the Carpenter, who's dead and doesn't care anyway:
The time has come, the Red Room said,
To talk of many things
Let's start a writer's haven here
And see what bells it rings.
We'll tell them to express themselves
And let their words have wings
"A place to write," the Red Room said,
"Is what we chiefly need:
A place where comments can be made
Is very good indeed –
Now if you're ready, writers dear,
We can begin to read."
With thanks to all the writers, published or not, some of whom have become my writing friends through our Mutual Admiration Society, but especially to Red Room, its founders and administration for making this a place where writers are not just accepted, but welcomed and encouraged.
I love it!
