Laughing Without an Accent is a series of autobiographical essays about being a citizen of the world in my Iranian, American and Parisian family. It covers all the bases from my childhood in Abadan, my adventures with an escaped monkey (No, that is not a euphesim for a person I didn't like. I'm talking about a real monkey.) to perhaps the most awkward dating moment with a man I eventually married. The twenty-eight stories promise to answer any question you have ever had, or perhaps not had, about me.
