Squaw Valley Community of Writers Poetry Benefit Reading

Jun.08.2013

On Friday, June 21, 2013, acclaimed poets Forrest Gander, Robert Hass, Brenda Hillman, Sharon Olds, and Evie Shockley will read from their poetry in Setzer Auditorium at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento.

This gathering of the tribe—all staff poets from this year's Community of Writers’ Summer Poetry Workshop in Squaw Valley—will raise money for the Poetry Program’s financial aid and scholarships. Books by the poets will be available for purchase and signing.

Tickets are $22 general admission and $16 for students (with current student ID). Group discounts are available. See the website included below for link to purchase tickets. The Crocker Art Museum will NOT be selling tickets. Please do not contact the museum regarding ticket sales.
