I'm getting ready to be interviewed by Jody Seay for her long-running public broadcasting show Back Page.  This is a series of half hour interviews with Pacific Northwest authors, filmed at OSU in Corvallis, Oregon.  She contacted me several months ago, I agreed and the time is here.  Glad it's being videotaped so do-overs are possible in case I say something incredibly dumb or offensive.  But I have a television-friendly outfit picked out, tried on, admired, so that's half the battle.  I've reread the work that we will most likely discuss - I know it well - I wrote it.  So, that's it.  So why do I have butterflies and hummingbirds in my stomach?
