Reviews are important, especially when you have the right reviewer. I discovered this recently while buying hand cream. My favorite hand cream, made from only beeswax and olive oil, is sold at the farmers market by the bee farmer. He sells several varieties of honey, beeswax, pollen, and beeswax candles.
I stood at his table and examined the hand cream. Although I had my eye on it, I knew that just a few tables away the olive oil woman sold hand cream, also. Which was better? Hand cream with mainly beeswax and a little olive oil or mainly olive oil and a little beeswax?
The decision was tough. As I pondered the outcome, someone joined me. The reviewer wore the trademark black and yellow stripes known in the profession. "What's the buzz?" I said.
"None of your beeswax," it could have replied. Instead, it buzzed around and around the jars.
I knew then I was in the right place.
