Dearly beloved sun hat,

Thank you for covering my head for six years, shielding my face and neck from the sun as well as from the rain, for you were a good rain hat, too.

Thank you for not minding that I sometimes squished you, throwing you pell mell into my bag.

Thank you for being there for me with your SPF 30.

Hope you didn't mind when I wore other hats, such as the one that covered my cheeks and made me look both cheeky and chic.

I am sorry you were too cool to go out with me after dark. I forgive you.

I am glad that you and CozyCozy, and my other fleeces, got along well.

(Just for the record, I have no nephews, only fleeces).
