So I saw some class on aging in society the other day while registering for fall classes. Old age is something I see as just a slowing and sagging of the body, and not much else. Of course, if you do something stupid when you are young, you will breakdown faster. But if you treat yourself well, you shouldn't have too much trouble.
Why do so many people now have cancer? Is it proportional to the population increase? Is it due to the fact that people move around and, dare I say, interbreed and cause conflicts and weakness in DNA? This is why cancer happens, as I am told. Cells multiply and go about their normal cycles, but then something gets in a kink and causes a whole bunch of havoc.
Spiders scare the crap out of me, but only if they are in my way waiting in webs, or if they surprise me. I actually look forward to seeing daddy long-legs and little jumping spiders jumping across the floor. I used to kill pest moths in my house and drop them in webs around the house to feed them. Nutty, eh? Well, I was a special, unique child.
