Influences
Someone once said all authors are reinventing the books they read when they were in fifth grade. For me, that's true to a large extent. I was a voracious bookworm when I was a kid (actually shouldn't use the verb "was".... I ***am*** a voracious bookworm!), and I think The Once and Future King, Little Women, Tom's Midnight Garden, The Diamond in the Window, Anne of Green Gables and many, many other YA titles influenced the way I write. Although my novels are for adults, I still love and frequently go back to the YA shelves.
