Eric B. Martin is a novelist, author of four books including Donald, The Virgin's Guide to Mexico and Winners, which was a finalist for the Northern California Book Award. He has been honored as a Fulbright Fellow, Michener Fellow, an American Short Fiction Fellow, and a recipient of a Durham Arts Council Emerging Artist grant. Raised in Maine and educated in North Carolina, Barcelona, Quito and Austin, he spent most of his adult life in San Francisco, where he was part of a writers' collective called The Grotto. He lives in Durham, North Carolina, where he is a founding member of the Hinge Literary Center and co-produces the multi-genre performance series Professor Diablo's True Review.
