Tahrir Square/Metaphor for Change

With 24 dead in three days,Tahrir Square is fast becoming a metaphor for democratic change , noy just for the Middle East , but indeed, for the entire world.Just a mere few months ago , the protesters were out in their thousands ,rallying against the excesses and corruption of the Mubarak regime. They toppled it.Now they are trying to topple the generals who are reluctant to hand over power to civilians.

Tahrir Square, then,as the epicentre, must be strong for these protesters fight for the freedom of their country.Every democratic country should support them, for in so doing, they strengthen the democratic systems of the global order.
