The Oedipus and Electra Complexes, according to Sigmund Freud and other leading psychologists involve ,in the first instance,sexual feelings and relationships between mothers/sons,while the latter deals with similar relationships between fathers/daughters.

For want of a better term of reference I am going to call the attraction between younger beautiful women and older powerful males'' the Reverse Attraction Theory''.The psychology majors will do a much better job at naming the theory and explaining it.But here goes.This is what caused this ''attraction'' between Gen.Petreaus and Ms Broadwell.Or Gen.Allen and  Jill Kelley.They all fit the profile.Younger beautiful women are attracted to older guys with power(money or rank) while these same powerful men (over 50) are attracted to younger pretty women.They panic because they are fearful they are losing their virility or macho image.They want to revert to their younger self.They feel that these younger ,sexier,beautiful women can be that vehicle.I call it the ''Reverse Attraction Theory''.
