GOP Faux Pas

Standing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on Saturday, probably in a bid to invoke the charisma and success of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. who himself had delivered his famous ''I have a Dream '' speech there decades before, neither Sarah Palin  nor Fox News host Glenn Beck realized that before a crowd of tens of thousands, they had committed a terrible'' faux pas''.This blunder could possibly cost Palin the 2012 nod.And what was their ''faux pas'' you may venture to ask?Well-their message of course.RESTORING HONOR! You know why this is the most ludicrous statement I have heard for the year?Because restoring America's HONOR is what President Barack Obama has been attempting to do.And with a fair measure of success I might add.George Bush and  Colin Powel in their mad search for WMD'S had invaded Iraq and precipitated a bloody war-a war that had greatly sullied America's good name overseas. And by the way could someone  please remind our two protagonists[of Lincoln Memorial  fame],that it is the incumbent President who is withdrawing the combat troops from IRAQ THIS YEAR 2010.

I would strongly suggest to Mrs Sarah Palin if she wants intelligent people to vote for her in 2012 or even beyond, that she select a more realistic message-at least one that is coated with truth.
