The Book Writing World is about to open the doors to our first fall quarter. This is going to be an exciting term and we’d love to get your insight and ideas. As a thank you for taking our short survey, we will enter your name to win a month-long coaching-package with me, Elizabeth Stark. In addition, every single person who takes it will be invited to a private group coaching and confidence conference with me. Winner will be picked Wednesday at midnight Pacific Time and announced Thursday.
PRIZE–The Coaching Package: At the start of the month, you and I meet (by phone or private video conference or in person in Berkeley, CA) for a forty-five minute session to review your goals and to address the obstacles in your writing life. Together we create an effective plan for you–one that motivates and inspires you to plan, write, revise, or finish your book or get it published. Overcome your obstacles and head toward your goals. Email check-ins as needed will be included in the plan for the month ahead and fifteen-minute one-on-one strategy-and-support meetings will take place each week for the subsequent three weeks. Value: $150 plus
The Coaching and Confidence Conference: A group conversation and coaching conference for writers that will address your current most powerful questions about planning, writing, revising, completing or publishing and promoting your book and get you moving forward in a powerful direction.
A word from a founding member about the Book Writing World and you:
“In the six months that I’ve been a member of BWW, I’ve received more support and helpful information for my writing than I did in all the years since finishing my M.A. in Creative Writing. I had been actively looking for a writers group that would work for a novel writer who didn’t want to make a huge time commitment, and BWW does just that.
“The group consists of serious writers at all stages of writing all kinds of work, including novels and memoirs, and is led by a gifted teacher, Elizabeth Stark, who is juggling fiction writing, BWW, and motherhood with grace and is very understanding of the realities of the writing life.
“Don’t be afraid of the time commitment. It is flexible and you can pick and choose what you want to participate in. And, importantly, there is absolutely no guilt. We are all there to lift each other up and help where we can. It is a superior writers group, with a big plus that there is a writers group leader who is an experienced writing teacher and prepares lessons and exercises and interviews with local authors and continues to refine the structure of BWW to ebest meet our needs.
“Even though I’ve graduated from a writing program, have finished a novel, and have received a few prizes here and there over the years, I feel that my participation in BWW is really focusing my writing life and helping me to be a more productive and thoughtful writer.”
–Leslie Rodd, BWW founding member
