where the writers are

We are water. We are sustained by water. It has no caloric value, yet it is more important to us that food. It cleanses us; envelops us in its liquid hug. I was born of Vikings, Pirates, and men of the sea. My earliest memories are of being drawn to the water in any form. At two, I tore magazines apart looking for photos of swimming pools, lakes, rivers, oceans, and seas. Today, I tear up the pathways, the roads, the skies, simply to reach the water.
