Elizabeth Hathenbruck has been an avid reader and writer since childhood. Family, and children's rights issues in particular, have been the focus of her life-especially those issues surrounding adoption. Her first novel WHEN THE APPLE FALLS has won four awards, including being named one of the top three novels in the Next Generation Indie Awards, a finalist in the National Best Book Awards and garnering a gold medal in the Mom's Choice Awards. Elizabeth has nine children and has recently completed novels two and three. Her first two novels are in the Women's Literature genre and her third is the first in a series in the fantasy Y/A. genre. She enjoys challenging herself with new writing goals and projects and experimenting with different tones and voices in her novels.
Ever since I was a young child my mother read poetry to me and taught me to love great literature. It was from the masters of literature that I gained a love of reading and from which I garnished my desire to write. It has been a life long goal to write works of fiction that had the ability to reach in to the core of the human experience and pull from it that which is most beautiful. It is my hope that those who read my bodies of work will feel that in some small way I have accomplished this task.
