I was born on the Fourth of July. When I was old enough to ask what the fireworks were for, my mother told me they were for me. I was school age before I learned differently. But it instilled in me a sense of specialiness, for lack of a better word, in thinking that what I had to write might be something others would enjoy reading. I've since gone on to publish numerous YA novels and thirteen women's fiction novels, the latest of which, DOMESTIC AFFAIRS, comes out in June of '08. My first novel, GARDEN OF LIES, spent a combined total of fourteen weeks on the NY TIMES hardcover and paperback bestseller lists. My books have sold over five million copies world-wide. My favorite part of my job? Hearing from readers of all ages, in every corner of the globe. Goes to show a good story is universal.
