For a long time, I thought that I simply didn't have enough time to do the things I wanted to.
After some time management work, the problem is that I'm spending a lot of time doing things that don't materially contribute toward my goals.
I spend literally an hour and a half each evening engaged in meaningless activities that don't particularly make me happy, it' mostly mindless idle stuff.. not even as worthwhile as watching Animal Planet, which at least is potentially educational.
So, I have a nice list of the things I do every day and now it's time to decide which ones Must Go. And it's not that easy.. some things just need to do less often (online chat) some things I shouldn't do at all (programming at home), and some things I need to do more often (back up my stuff to the externl backup drive, backup my writing to my Google Drive).
It's a kind of slow process, but I think it'll make me more organized and make it obvious what time is available to write, and let me schedule it in more effectively!
