I have a book of about 50 poems that is in dire need of some TLC.
Ah, Smashwords! I need a pilot project to put up on Smashwords, so I can give it a try and see how it compares to selling for Kindle on Amazon. And as I mentioned above, I have this book of poetry that could use a revisit.
So, I think in between homework (yecch) and working on outlining various projects, I'm going to take my poetry book, reformat it a bit, and pop it up on Smashwords for 99 cents. It should be an interesting experiment and will smooth the way for the next thing I want to get on Smashwords.
I should probably go back to writing poetry, as well. I would easily crank out 2-3 poems a week, of which one would be publish-worthy (and one so-so, and one truly cringe-worthy). Four publishable poems a month adds up pretty quickly! And there's immediate feedback within a day I can tell which category the poem is in (and I do keep them ALL, regardless). The same goes for my flash fiction, and I love seeing results right away!
Apropos of nothing department: my comfy chair is back-ordered, so I'm stuck in my back-buster for another 2 weeks (feh). But - playoff football Sunday! Chicken wings and beer, hooray!
