EXT. FACADE - ANGELA'S HOUSE - NIGHT
LISA pulls into a decorative driveway, shaped literally like a BLUE-LIT crescent moon. The house is ANGLED like a house out of water -- Frank Lloyd Wright's Kaufmann House (Falling Water). Digital Underground's (DU) Sex Packets HUMS in the background. We see them going through COOL motions.
LISA'S P.O.V. - ANGELA
is barefoot, wearing an ankle bracelet and a long white lycra dress, looking like a cross between a Hippie and a Diva. She leans against the door frame with a slender SMILE.
LONG - ON ANGELA AND LISA - DOORWAY
Angela does not try to move aside just in time. Their shoulders TOUCH. She opens the DOOR WIDER inside the foyer. LISA slips out of her elfin flats. SEES a HUDSON ROCKER.
This is beautiful. Philippe Starck fan?
I like the simple elegance of his furniture.
I like his motorcycles.
LONG - ON ANGELA AND LISA - FOYER
They cross white marble and STILL LIFE-LIKE vase and dried grasses to a sunken PARLOR beyond a balustrade that circles the room. Angela plays Sade's Cherish to commemorate their introduction. They walk around the balustrade to the Media Room. On the wide-screen (period piece) TV is Julie Dash's, Daughters of the Dust on MUTE, like the LOVERS in the film... An entertainment system is built into the walls. Music WRAPS the room in Tricky SOUND. The bar is on a pedestal. Lisa is SMILING.
SERIES OF SHOTS
A) Angela hands her a wine flute filled with white wine.
B) They toast.
C) Angela rolls a joint.
D) They smoke it, and give each other shotguns.
E) Lisa starts to dance.
LISA'S POV - MEDIA ROOM
CAMERA PANS the room to the rhythm of her beat.
CLOSE - ON ANGELA AND LISA
Angela joins Lisa in DANCE, like DU suggests -- how they like. Lisa to the DRUMS. Angela to the BASS. SLOWLY they DANCE together and FLOAT KISSES like swimmers under water. They don't bump into each other. Their timing is perfect. They are not LESBIANS, they are LOVERS. Trench People live in a world where their behavior is normal. It is a moral option, though different. They are SEXY. They are SENSUOUS. They are FREE.

Angela PUSHES Lisa across the bar as if HOVERING on the edge of land. Her lips MOVE across Lisa's face and neck like a fish kissing glass.
CLOSE - ON LISA - BAR
She CLOSES her eyes in SLOW MOTION.
INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT - LONG - ON LISA AND ANGELA
NUDE on top of the sheets, they make love, moving in synchronicity. LISA arches away. ANGELA GENTLY PINS her. The ERASES' BURSTS of RESISTANCE are answered by EROMENOS' DESTRUCTION. Lisa's CRIES are MUFFLED by Angela's skin. Their bodies GLISTEN in the dark. A TEAR DROPS from the corner of Lisa's EYE and SLIDES across Angela's arm.

Sleeping, they lie like spoons, with LISA on the inside.

E) In the kitchen, Angela cooks pasta while Lisa sits on the counter and reads James Baldwin's Giovanni's Room -- Out loud.
F) Playfully flirting with drivers they PASS (male and female) in Angela's Benz.
G) Lisa, moving to Crescent Moon Drive... They carry boxes and art paraphernalia.
