Meditations for Releasing Anxiety includes short and long term practices for releasing anxiety. In the first two sections, the meditations and guided imageries are essentially coping techniques. The intention is that these exercises can be done, on the spot, to reduce and relieve anxiety. These practices provide a foundation for feeling, interpreting, and reacting to emotion in healthy ways. Long term, this reduces the necessity of intense anxiety.
