Favorite Movie Made from a Book!
Tales of Addiction

One of the best movies I have seen in my life was taken from a book written by Alice Walker. Yes, I am referring to "The Color Purple." This movie, in my option, tastefully portrays the book's potent topics including childhood incest/rape, women's sexual divisions, and deep-rooted women's abuse issues. To weave a screen script around such taboo, yet immensely true tales of pain and suffering, took magical insights. To produce a quality film and not misinterpret the book author's emotion and gentle wisdom was genius.
