Douglas Clegg is an award-winning writer of many novels and stories in the dark fantasy, horror & suspense fields.
He was born in Virginia, and raised there as well as in Hawaii and Connecticut. He currently lives on the coast of Connecticut in a cottage filled with books, and a menagerie that includes a cat, dog, and two rabbits -- all rescues.
His novels include The Priest of Blood, The Hour Before Dark, Neverland, You Come When I Call You, and the upcoming fall 2009 fully-illustrated supernatural tale, Isis. More than 25 books of his have been published over the past 20 years.
Clegg has also pioneered the ebook and online fiction in the late 1990s when he launched the world's first e-serial novel through his free newsletter. He and his work have been featured on NPR, BBC Radio, Time magazine, USA Today, the Dallas Morning News, BusinessWeek, Business 2.0, Publisher's Weekly and many other media outlets.
Clegg maintains an active presence online, and will launch a new serial -- a dark fable, called THE LOCUST -- beginning in July 2009.
