"Orion's husband had an idea — leave behind their lives as psychiatrists and travel around the country in a converted bus. 'Why can't you be like a normal husband in a midlife crisis and have an affair or buy a Corvette?' Orion asks. But before long she and husband, along with two cats and one poodle, are aboard a 'bus with a will of its own,' making it to every state in the continental United States except for Kentucky (too cold) and Rhode Island (so small they missed it).
