Writing The King's Agent was one of my greatest challenges-it was the first time I wrote from a male perspective, shared with a female's-it truly ignited my creative passion. Merging Renaissance art with alien symbolism, Dante's Divine Comedy, and hints of my favorite video game was like baking a six layer cake, rich and deep.
