Dianne Jacob is the author of Will Write for Food: The Complete Guide to Writing Cookbooks, Restaurant Reviews, Articles, Memoir, Fiction, and More (Da Capo, 2005); and co-author of Grilled Pizzas and Piadinas (Dorling Kindersley, 2008).
She has attended journalism school twice, once in Canada and once in the US; and has a background as a newspaper reporter and editor, magazine editor, and editor of CD-ROM software. Currently she teaches writing class at the Writing Salon in Berkeley, CA; at Book Passage in Corte Madera, CA; and at UCLA Extension.
As a coach, she works with writers at many levels, helping them get their first or fifth book published; or showing them how to freelance for leading publications.
