Dianne Hales's Biography

My sole ambition in life was to write for a living--and so I have. I've written 14 trade books. My newest "La Bella Lingua: My Love Affair with Italian, the World's Most Enchanting Language" will be published in May 2009. I've also the author of Invitation to Health, the top-selling college health textbook. As a journalist, I've served as a contributing editor of Parade, Ladies Home Journal, Working Mother and American Health and have written for many national publications, including FamilY Circle, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, Health, New York Times, Readers Digest, Washington Post, Woman's Day and World Book.
