"Each year on the third Monday in January northern Californians of every age, background and walk of life experience a full day of free festivities in honor of Dr. King at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Yerba Buena Gardens.
On Monday, January 21, 2013, thousands of celebrants will again come together for a full day of free and exciting programs, festivals and activities in honor of Dr. King and the 50th anniversary year of his famed “I Have a Dream” address and the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. The 2013 celebration will host events for all ages, including:
