A native and current resident of New Orleans, Dedra Johnson received her MFA from the University of Florida-Gainesville as well as degrees from Northwestern University and the University of Southern Mississippi. Her stories have appeared in Product and Bridge and she was a finalist for the Zora Neale Hurston/Richard Wright Award for College Writers. Sandrine’s Letter to Tomorrow was a finalist for the 2006 William Faulkner-William Wisdom Creative Writing Award.
