Off to the Olympics again today!!!! I'll blog later. I was blogging away, hit a wrong key and presto the whole thing was gone... at least i think its gone..... so here is a much shorter blog about the olympics 2010.
My plan is to see family friendly pavillions, displays, art, culture, music and eat foods from all over this land as we walk up and down Granville St and maybe even take a seabus to Yaletown too. That'll mean taking the sky train into the city and that will thrill my kids, ages 5 & 7. It is like riding a trolley in the sky, or for travellers its a lot like the airport shuttle train in Dallas except it goes somewhere and offers great views of the city from the inside look at parks and yards to the expansive views you get riding one of the giant San Francisco style bridges.
We've got our felt pen in case we saw athletes we can ask for autographs (you can spot them by the scrums of their countrymen shrieking).
I was all over the Olympics yesterday and it was safe. Very safe. This afternoon i'll be checking out the art and culture, tomorrow i've got tix to the women's hockey match Canada vs Sweden and tuesday i've got an interview live on air at www.progressiveradionetwork.com 1.30 pm eastern (10.30 am here at the Games)
