Cooks With Books: Deborah Madison at Left Bank Restaurant

Left Bank in Larkspur will partner with Book Passage in Corte Madera on Sunday, April 21st, to present a “Cooks with Books” event with the one and only Deborah Madison, local and sustainable food movement trailblazer and author of the cookbook Vegetable Literacy.

Deborah Madison is the founding chef of the highly acclaimed Greens Restaurant in San Francisco. An active player in the sustainable and local food movement, she’s the author of nine cookbooks and award winner of the M.F.K. Fisher Award, the I.A.C.P. Julia Child cookbook of the year award, and a 4-time winner of the James Beard Award.

This unique event will commence with a special book signing with the author, followed by an intimate multi-course meal prepared by our own Chef de Cuisine Fabrice Marcon and inspired by Deborah’s cookbook.
