Kirkus will have its review of Rock & Roll Never Forgets in the 1 May issue. Library Journal and PW should be following that shortly.
This one, the first JP Kinkaid Chronicle, will be my eleventh published novel. I've had enough reviews over the years to repaper my office, if I was so inclined. Mostly, they've been good reviews, including some stars from PW and LJ. Every once in a while, someone hates something.
Reviews, eh, whatever. I've always been blasè about them, pretty much.
Not this time. This series is my baby, the one I've been waiting my entire life to write.
Bad reviews on this one would be tricky to deal with. Very, very tricky to deal with. To paraphrase any one of a number of Far Side cartoons about cavemen: "Thag SMASH!"
Nervous? Me...? (goes back to quietly feasting on fingernails)
PS - why the date at the top of the Preview page for this is entry is December 1969, I have no clue.
