Issue One of Phantom Drift: A Journal of New Fabulism will be available at http://www.wordcraftoforegon.com/pd/html beginning October 1, 2011. Subscriptions are $15 postage paid. Issue One features fiction by Brian Evenson, Eliot Fintushel, Stefanie Freele, Carolyn Ives Gilman, Daniel Grandbois, Peter Grandbois, Joe L. Murr, Nisi Shawl, Geronimo G. Tagatac, David Eric Tomlinson and Ray Vukcevich; poetry by Aaron Anstett, Jonathan Ball, Richard Crow, Wade German, Joshua McKinney, Stephen McNally, Lawrence Raab and Anita Sullivan; and essays by Thomas E. Kennedy and Matt Schumacher; featured artist are Jessica Plattner (with profile by Jodi Varon) and Richard Schindler (interviewed by Michael Chocholak). Phantom Drift Limited is a non-profit organization formed in July 2011 and is dedicated to building an understand of and appreciation for New Fabulism and a Literature of the Fantastic. The journal will be published annually in the fall. Issue One was made possible due to a grant of support from the literary small press, Wordcraft of Oregon, LLC, who also hosts the website. Donations are tax-deductible.

Open submission period for Issue Two is December 1 - March 31. We will pay $25 for fiction up to 2,000 words; $50 for fiction 2001-6500 words; $50 for essays 2001 - 5000 words; $10 for poems up to 96 lines. Please submit electronically through our website: http://www.wordcraftoforegon.com/pd.html
