David Michael Conner is a writer and artist living in Washington, D.C. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA (2008). David has worked as a professional writer and editor for over ten years, and has interviewed celebrities including musician Tori Amos and actress Vanessa Williams, among others, and has written comprehensive booklets on various health and social issues ranging from bipolar disorder to post-trauamatic stress disorder, depression and suicide prevention to substance abuse and addiction. He has worked for the Entertainment Industries Council and the Association of Community College Trustees, where he currently serves as marketing and communications specialist and managing editor of Trustee Quarterly magazine. David has in the past been selected as a scholarship finalist for the Tin House Writers Workshop, which he has attended and taken workshops with Dorothy Allison and Tin House Editor and novelist Michelle Wildgen.
